FieldSync Pro: Every rep. Every mark. Every season.
Coaches write the work. Athletes log every rep and keep every mark. Parents always know when and where practice is. Everyone cheers each other on in the Feed. One app for the whole team, on iPhone, Android and the web.
For coaches
Run the whole season from one place.
- Create your team. Name your team, choose your school or club, and share one team code. Athletes join with it or by scanning your QR code, and you can print a sign up sheet for the first meeting. A new team approves each athlete before they are in, and Approve all lets them in together. An adult asking to join a team of minors always waits for you to look.
- Set your seasons. Cross country, indoor and outdoor dates start from your state's usual calendar. Tap Looks right, or set your own. Every athlete's marks, PRs and goals then stay in order by season.
- Put practice on the calendar. Practices and meets your athletes and their parents can see. Cancel one and everyone hears your reason. Move one and everyone hears the new day and time. Athletes and parents get a reminder before each one, at the time you choose and never overnight.
- Write the work. Interval sessions with reps, distance, recovery and a target per rep, for one athlete or a whole squad. Hang it on a practice or set it for them to do on their own. Every split comes back to you, rep by rep.
- Run the day. The practice board has the day's plan and the weather. If someone hears thunder, put practice on hold and the app counts 30 minutes from the last thunder or lightning you log, as NFHS guidance describes. Going back out stays your call.
- Take attendance your way. Everyone counts as here unless you mark them, or nobody is in until you check them in. Athletes who can't make it tell you in the app, with a note, and you decide if they are excused.
- See who keeps showing up. Team Analytics shows attendance over time: who is missing practices, who is often late and who is always there. Next to it, every athlete with their latest mark and whether they are improving.
- One page for each athlete. Open any athlete from the roster or the Feed: their events, their goals for each season, race predictions if they run distance, their own training and every recent mark, with Message at the top.
- Coach from the video. Pause an athlete's video on any frame and draw on it: lines, arrows, circles, angles in degrees, freehand and labels. Your note stays on that moment. On a mark in the Feed it shows on the post for everyone who can see it, and the athlete can reply there.
- Talk to your team. A team chat for athletes and coaches, announcements with a PDF or picture attached, and chats with any athlete or any of your team's parents. With an athlete under 18, another adult is always in the conversation.
- Show off the results. The Media Room keeps your logo, mascot and colors. Make result cards and meet recaps ready to post.
For athletes
Every rep logged, every mark kept, every season in order.
- Join your team. Enter your coach's team code or scan their QR code. If you are 13 to 17, you can add a parent's email so they hear that you joined.
- See what you have today. The Feed opens on today: your practice, whether you are counted as here, the work your coach assigned and any session still waiting on your splits.
- Can't make it? Say so. Unless your coach checks everyone in at practice, you're down as coming until you say otherwise. Tell your coach from the Feed or the practice, with a note if you like, and take it back if plans change. Your coach decides if you are excused.
- Log every rep. Type each split as you run it and see where it landed against the target your coach set. On iPhone, runs from your watch come in through Apple Health, and you match each lap to a rep.
- Cheer each other on. Marks you log from the past week and every goal you set post for your teammates, coaches, parents and circle, unless you turn sharing off in Settings. Hold Like to react with Fire, Congrats, Haha, Strong, Trophy or about 600 animated emoji. Reply with words or a GIF, or post your own with a photo or video.
- Keep your marks. Log a meet or practice mark one question at a time. PRs come from meets, with indoor and outdoor kept apart, the way results sites keep them. Your practice best has its own line.
- Watch yourself improve. Each event shows your indoor and outdoor PRs, your practice best and a chart of every mark. Switch seasons or see all time, and see when your coach last looked at your marks.
- See what you could run. From your best recent meet race at 1500 m or longer, see what you could run at other distances, the pace your goal needs, and easy, tempo and interval paces for it. Only you and your coach see it.
- Set a goal for the season. Choose the event, the season and the mark, one question at a time, for this season or one further ahead. If you miss it, it is offered back for the next season, and you choose whether to keep it.
- Add a video. Up to 15 seconds on a jump or a throw, with your notes, and you choose who can watch your videos. Play it back in slow motion or frame by frame, read your coach's notes and jump to any moment they pinned, and remove it any time.
- Log your own training. Runs, rides, swims, lifts and anything else you do on your own sit next to the work your coach assigned.
- Fuel for it. What to eat and drink around training and races, each part with its sources, like the NFHS, USADA TrueSport and the IOC, and your coach's notes for the team.
For parents
Always know when and where practice is.
- Follow the team. Sign up as a parent and type the team code from your athlete's coach. A coach approves you, or adds your email so you are in right away. Then say which athlete is your child, and your athlete confirms it.
- Know the schedule. Every practice and meet for each team you follow, with the time, how long it runs and where to go. You hear the moment one moves or is cancelled, with the coach's reason for a cancellation, and get weather calls, lightning holds and a reminder before each one.
- Follow along in the Feed. Once you are linked as their parent, your athlete's marks, goals and posts show up as they share them, beside the coach's announcements. Watch their videos whenever their coaches can, and like or comment on any of it.
- Message the coach. Start a chat with your athlete's coaches from Messages. Every chat between a coach and an athlete under 18 includes another adult, and once you are linked as the parent, a coach can add you.
- See what your athlete shares. Results belong to your athlete. If they start a Circle, give you its code and let you in, you see the marks and goals of everyone in it and can comment on them. Once every athlete under 18 in it has a linked parent there, the circle gets a group chat too. You never see the team roster.
Safety
- No one to one chats with a minor. In Messages another adult is always in the chat, checked on every message. An athlete under 18 answers a coach's note on a mark only on its post in the Feed, where others read it, or in Messages.
- Team chat needs two adults. A team chat opens only once the team has two adults on it, such as a head coach and an assistant.
- Words are checked first. The words in messages, comments, posts and coach feedback are checked before they are delivered, and anything flagged is held. People can be reported and blocked.
- A report hides a post at once. Any post or comment can be reported. A reported post is hidden right away, and a person at FieldSync looks at it within 24 hours. An athlete or their parent can remove any comment on the athlete's posts.
- 13 and older. Signing up asks for a date of birth, and under 13s cannot create an account. Coach and parent accounts are for adults.
- Quiet nights for minors. The Feed is newest first and never ranked, and likes and comments in the Feed never send a push to an athlete under 18 between midnight and 6 am.
- Lightning holds. A hold counts 30 minutes from the last thunder or lightning a coach logs, and tells the team and its parents. The count is not an all clear. The coach decides.
- Food, never weight. The Fueling page never tells an athlete how much to weigh or how many calories to eat, and a coach's note that talks about losing weight, weighing in, body fat or calories is refused.
- GIFs rated G. GIFs come from GIPHY, rated G only, and our server checks every one again before it is sent.
- Videos without location. Before a video is kept, its sound and the place it was filmed are removed. The athlete chooses who can watch.
- Nothing sold, no ads. There is no advertising and there are no third party analytics. Nothing about an athlete is ever sold.
- Your data, your call. Delete your account from Settings and it is gone. A parent can ask to see or delete anything we hold about their child.
